Wow!! What a crazy busy month! Today we wrapped up our last day together before our two week break! Although we will miss each other, I think we are all looking forward to relaxing and refreshing for the new year. The kids were wonderful this week and were just so excited to have some fun with each other at the class holiday party.

To help welcome the students from Sandy Hook back to school, we are taking part in their winter wonderland decorations. Each student in my class made a beautiful snowflake that will hang on the walls as part of the winter wonderland. I am so happy I learned of this before the break so we could take part in such an important thing. We didnt discuss anything to do with the incident, all I said is that we are making special snowflakes for students at another school. Here is how our snowflakes came out. How precious!?!?

  1. That's very sweet of you to make snowflakes. Our school made a big poster. Enjoy your break!

  2. Thanks, Tammy! It is bittersweet that we were able to be a part of their welcoming. Hope you're enjoying your break as well!
